Too Many Devices But Not a New Phone or Tablet
Apple has recently introduced a setting that randomizes the network ID number on their mobile devices. It is this number that our network uses to associate your login to your device. To continue to use an apple device on our Wi-Fi you will need to turn this setting off.
Turn private address off for the Luther network
- Open the Settings app, then tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap the information button next to the Luther network.
- Tap Private Address. This will turn off the toggle button.
- You will be most likely be prompted to Re-Join the network.
- Sometimes, even after doing this, you may still have to unregister your device to connect again. Instructions for unregistering a device can be found here: I got a new device. How do I remove the old one?
